Why won't the BIOS load?

Notebook ASUS X551M. The story is this: strong friezes appeared on Windows 7. Vistula on boot. I disabled it in the BIOS, it's not clear what - Windows began to boot without problems. But to be sure, I decided to install Windows 8.1. To do this, you had to update the BIOS. I did it through WinFlash (I took it from the off site) I flashed the BIOS, started reinstalling. There was only one partition on the laptop - C:, on which there was Windows.
In the disk editing section in the Windows installer, there were such sections: C (system) and three more incomprehensible sections.
I decided to split C: into 2 disks: system and normal. After formatting C: I created a new disk, it again crashed into 4. I started installing Windows on C. It seemed to be completed, but after one of the scheduled reboots, the laptop turned off and did not turn on again. Loaded to the inscription:
ASUS
Inspiring Innovation - Persistent Perfection
Could I then delete the BIOS when formatting the partitions? Could it be wrong to reflash it? Doesn't respond to hotkeys. Not at all.
Thank you in advance! I've been without a laptop for two weeks now ;(

After flashing, at the beginning of the installation, you saw hidden disk partitions. One section is a regular system one, another one is hidden, which creates WINDOWS for itself. Another Recovery section, also hidden, there is a WINDOWS backup for recovery, almost all laptops do this. The fourth section finds it difficult to say why.
Partitions are not deleted by formatting, so it's not surprising that you see 4 partitions again. Bios is also not removed, it is not on the hard drive.
At the moment, it seems to me, the laptop is trying to restore Windows from the Recovery partition. Perhaps, after your manipulations, the hidden partition has become normal and the laptop is trying to boot from it.
Windows 8.1 requires a different GPT disk layout, so you don't need to format, but delete all partitions before installing.

When formatting the BIOS, it is impossible to kill, with firmware - more than real. In general, to the service.

Search the Internet for a manual for your laptop on request ASUS X551M reset bios. Resetting the bios to default settings might help. If not, then you need to sew it again. But if he does not react to anything - then only in the service most likely.
