Why won't the axis boot after BIOS reset?

I reset the settings by removing the battery.
I'm trying to boot into windows XP from an IDE disk:

ntldr is missing

Trying to boot into FreeBSD from another IDE drive:
panic: bd_strategy: -1 bytes I/O not multiple of block size

Trying to boot into FreeBSD from USB:
btx halted

Check connection type. maybe it used to be compatible and not ahci, play with this option.
Screw one in the system? Are you loading from the correct one?

Most likely, the settings for determining the Normal / AHCI screw have flown

This is such an old board that AHCI is not there :) And the SATA controller there seems to be not in the chipset, but external.
Look at the circled options in the screenshot and the underlined text, especially the word "RAID by default". Might give you some ideas.
