Why won't TB-146SE read some PDF files?

My book www.ixbt.com/pda/texet-tb-146se.shtml does not read some pdf files - part of the text is displayed there, and instead of the other - some kind of scribbles. On a PC and a tablet, these files open normally. What is the jamb? What to do?
