Why won't my HP 260 G2 DM turn on after a power failure?

I want to share my experience. At office some specified sistemnik. Once, after a power surge, one stopped turning on. BP is correct. I disassembled the computer completely, took out the mother to make sure that all the elements were intact, did not see anything bad, at the same time took out and checked the battery with a tester and reset the CMOS with the button. After that the computer started up normally.

I would not have paid attention to the case if it had not been for a repeated failure (they accidentally pulled out the power wire) already on another computer and the same problem. At the same time, I noticed that the router sees the network card of the computer (WoL is enabled), the link indicator is on.

I also wanted to disassemble it, but I decided to start by resetting the CMOS - it turned out to be enough, the computer turned on.

@lazix

I did not receive an answer to the question "why", but I described the solution - reset the CMOS with the button on the mother.
