Why won't my computer turn on after replacing the processor?
Motherboard ASUS P8H61-MX, everything worked, but recently usb ports began to fall off. They just stopped working until reboot. An inexpensive i5 processor turned up for this socket, I decided to replace it and the computer refused to turn on after replacing the processor. Gives out 4 short beeps. Googled - system timer error. I tried replacing the battery, but that didn't help. I put the old processor - it does not turn on and there are no signals at all when loading. Only the coolers are spinning. Put again a new percent - 4 times beeps. I removed the memory and the video card, blew the connectors with a pear, inserted it - it did not help. Mother died? But why does it squeak with a new process, but simply does not turn on with the old one?

Mother everything.
To clean up the advice, you can turn off everything, everything, everything, except for the video card (if there is no built-in one), leave one die and the old CPU and try to turn it on.
