Why won't my computer turn on after cleaning?

I disassembled the computer to clean it from dust. I wiped the components with wet wipes, including the processor (when I washed it from thermal paste). I vacuumed the motherboard a little, didn’t damage anything, everything was in place (at least when I vacuumed, I didn’t hear the characteristic sound of impact of small particles of the motherboard when sucked into the vacuum cleaner). When I wiped and cleaned everything, I collected everything, twisted it and now I turn it on. As a result, the cooler from the processor scrolled for a second and that's it. The computer turned on for a second and immediately turned off. Tried to change the power supply - did not help. I can not understand what the problem is, please help with detailed advice. Thank you!

@andreydobrin

It was a defective power supply.

Ok, wiped off the thermal paste, and did you apply the thermal paste (new!) Back?
Take out all the peripherals, drives, memory, everything. Check that everything that is stuck in is completely stuck. And since they didn’t blow it out with a vacuum cleaner, but blow it in, see if there are any jumpers there by chance.
What happens when you turn it on?

Vacuuming a PC is actually quite a risky undertaking. dust and air while moving through the pipe easily accumulate a static charge, which can just as easily spread to a PC. Not every vacuum cleaner is grounded, and antistatic bracelets are very rarely used. So either check all the pieces of iron on another PC or bring them to the diagnostics.

Check the contacts on the socket with a magnifying glass.

it’s better to blow out the dust, with some blow, buy a small vacuum cleaner for blowing, and yes, turn on everything in order, starting from the motherboard with processor and memory and look, if it doesn’t turn on, then look, it’s a problem if the contacts on the socket are bent
