Why won't MODX revo packages update and download?

At first I tried to update the package. In the manager, when you click on the "Update" button, a progress bar appears for a split second and immediately disappears. And the window (screen below) stupidly freezes and does not respond to pressing.

And new packages can't be loaded. This window appears and that's it, nothing else happens. So it's worth it.

MODX Revolution 2.6.5-pl
Tried to change permissions on the code/packages folder. To no avail.
Virtual hosting. Plesk
