Why won't Live Kali Linux start without nomodeset (Cannot open display)?
Hello.
When you start Live Kali Linux Encrypted Persistence, a black screen, blinks "_" and writes something about the network (2 lines), without a connection it does not write anything at all.
The problem appeared after an emergency reboot, wine32 was recently installed, which caused the reboot. FreeType for wine was also installed.
Now running with nomodeset only, can somehow remove wine32 and FreeType, how to do it right in this situation?
Amd64, Nvidia
Ctrl+Alt+F1, opened terminal, says Cannot open display ""
