Why, when setting up Sublime Text, the text in the active tab is highlighted in rectangular shapes and marked with an exclamation mark in the margins?

Good day. I set up SublimeText and ran into such a problem: on the active tab, text is selected in rectangular shapes and marked with an exclamation mark in the margins, I can’t understand what’s wrong. Perhaps the question is stupid, please - do not kick.

Place your cursor on line 8 and look at the status line (which now says "Line 5, Column 1"). It will say what's going on there. You probably have Sublime Linter installed - this is how it highlights errors.

Thanks, the question was in the SublimePythonIDE plugin, in the plugin settings I changed the value of the "python_linting" parameter to false.
