Why, when entering a network resource, does the case of the resource depend on the case in which the server name was typed?
Whether it's a server or a computer, the problem is the same.
I create a folder on my local drive for sharing and name it as TEST Sharing ( I use upper and lower case)
When publishing, the resource name becomes lower case
Next, I access the resource in 2 ways, use UPPER case and lower case in the computer name.
\\TEST01-PC and \\test01-pc - why is the result different? Why is the shared resource register changing?
Below is the result when Start - Run - \\TEST01-PC
And now, in lowercase computer name below is the result when Start - Run - \\test01-pc
