Why webview opens links in browser?

Good afternoon friends.
Faced the problem of opening links in my application through webview.
The problem is the following.
The application follows the link and, in theory, the link should open in the application itself, but it opens in the browser. And I noticed that this happens only if there is a redirect in the some-site.com/1.php document.
works fine without redirect (only tested in Android Studio).
After installing the redirect, the link opens only in the browser (I checked it on my device).
I'm scratching my head, I can't figure out what's going on.
