Why VPN works despite UFW rules?

Raised on the OpenVPN server using a script. Set up UFW there

sudo ufw default deny incoming
sudo ufw default allow outgoing
sudo ufw allow OpenSSH
sudo ufw enable

Those. Deny all incoming connections except SSH.
So why is my OpenVPN working? Why is the incoming connection from my client not being blocked by the firewall on the server, it's not SSH?
