Why text from Excel is copied with hyphens?
There is any Excel file and there is a Sail program (who may have heard). The problem is that when we copy a value from a cell in Excel and paste it into a text field in Sail, it goes there with hyphens, as a result of which the query in Sail does not work correctly. In fact, when we copy a cell from Excel, it is always copied with hyphens. Is it possible to disable this behavior so that the value is copied without hyphens?

It's unlikely to turn off. Possible solutions:
1. Implement copying from Excel with a separate button. In the VBA handler, copy only what you need to the clipboard;
2. Process the clipboard "on the fly" (difficult, but also feasible);
3. Process the inserted text in Sail. Apparently, the module used, where the text is inserted, will need to be finalized.
