Why is lang-switcher__link a child of lang-switcher and not lang-switcher__item?
Couldn't lang-switcher__link be made like lang-switcher__item__link?

Move the redirect rule to the beginning of the file.

Because lang-switcher__item is not a separate component that can be taken out of lang-switcher, it depends on it. And the lang-switcher__link style depends on the root component, not on the "wrapper" lang-switcher__item . And the tree simply shows the nesting of DOM elements.

Because it refers to lang-switcher, not lang-switcher__item. Otherwise it would be item__link.
