Why such a low speed?

The router should give out via wifi at 11g up to 54Mbps (router TL-WR841N). With 11n up to 300, and 11b up to 11.
You can only configure it for ngb, or ng. Separately, n or g cannot be chosen. Set to ng now. From a phone with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, the speed is only ~10Mbps out of 50.
Why is that?
