Why Redirect via .htaccess doesn't work?

Guys, I've never done a redirect, but there seems to be nothing complicated, I write it in .htaccess

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
Redirect 301 /category/lib/ /lib/

Everything, there are no more lines in the file, but for some reason the redirect does not occur. What could be the problem?
