Why New Zealand has the highest paid programmers?

Question related to this article. And it's not the first one I've come across where the NZ is mentioned in this sense. At first I thought about taxes, but it is far from the largest in the world.
Is there some kind of richest IT corporation located there? or what is the reason? didn't google anything.

Prices there, as in California and at home for 1k bucks for a barn on the beach. So the salary is directly proportional to the cost of living. And they are about the same everywhere.
@opium it's there.
In general, if you subtract income tax, then the "net" average salary of a programmer is as follows:
Russia 20700$
US 72600$
New Zealand 74000$
Accommodation:
Russia ~4800$
US ~12000$
New Zealand ~15500$

It’s not enough to see specialists, that’s worth their weight in gold

@opium

they pay well, like everywhere else
, there are few programmers, so the average check is higher, and 100,000 bucks a year before tax is not much for a good programmer.
it would be much more interesting if they brought the median.
