Why might DNS Resolver not work in pfSense?

I'm trying to understand how this miracle works, but I just can't turn on Host Overriding.
Here, when checking, it always writes the address on a remote ns server ... but I need to change it.
From the key settings:
Network Interfaces: Localhost + Lan + OpenVPN (tap)
Outgoing Network Interfaces: WAN
System Domain Local Zone Type: Transparent
DNSSEC: enabled
DNS Query Forwarding: disabled
DHCP Registration: enabled
Static DHCP: enabled
Plus I added Host Override with my local address.
and at the same time I do a check from the client: nslookup test.domain.com and get an address available to the entire Internet.
why?
what is missing?

@mrpsycho

I woke up and realized all the stupidity of the question ....
I won’t delete it, you never know who else will push.
in the General setting, where you enter DNS for the router, you need to specify the interfaces on which DNS Resolver will listen .... well, or DNS Forwarder, if you are still using it.
