Why js-php code on ios does not work correctly?

Why does this code work on Windows and Android, and the value of the php variable is assigned to the js variable, but on OS X and IOS it cannot assign and displays let voiceChoose = ;, please explain what is the reason?

The code itself:
let voiceChoose = <?php echo $voiceChoose;?>;
