Why is vmware esxi constantly migrating machines back and forth?
I have in my company a cluster of several identical servers with a VMware ESXi, 7.0.0 hypervisor. From time to time, the servers begin to "cry" that they do not have enough memory. I look - a third of the memory is free on several servers, and on 1-2 all virtual machines scored 100% of all available memory. I manually transfer 1-2 machines to other servers, I equalized the memory load. After 20-30 minutes I go in - there is a strong movement in the logs, the system itself has re-scattered virtual machines, now again some of the servers are resting, while others are crammed under 100% from memory. During the day, the movement is constant, virtual machines ride back and forth continuously. How to correct the situation so that without special need (failure of the hypervisor, overflow of resources) machines do not run around the servers?
