Why is there no sound on the laptop?

System: win 8.1 x64. Notebook: hp compaq cq-50. Previously, the sound was (on another system).
There is no sound in the headphones either.

I don’t see this driver here, IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, it’s exactly how it is registered in the manager, I have Win 8.1, 64 beech hp pavilion g6 delete all sound drivers and install via the Internet, if it doesn’t work in automatic mode, go to the HP website and find a package of firewood for sound under your beech

Sometimes you still need to install drivers from the manufacturer's website, and do not rely on the "intelligence" of Windows.
