Make sure that the correct input is selected in the monitor settings (for example, HDMI if you are connecting via HDMI, and not, for example, VGA).
Try a different output of the video card (if there are such and there are the necessary cables).
Try another cable (somehow there was an HDMI cable with which one of the video cards did not work, while everything was fine with the other).
Ideally, of course, have at least a couple of cables, a couple of monitors and a couple of video cards. And so that everything is different, then you can quickly check what exactly is failing :)
