Why is there no IT workers union?
Greetings
How cool it would be if a real union of IT workers appeared in the Russian Federation, controlled by a joint mind:
- do you want to try to block telegram? — Strike.
- a foul-smelling law was passed at the suggestion of spring? Seriously? - We strike.
Do you want to somehow violate the rights of an IT worker? Get ready for serious lawsuits.
- Do you want bloggers to register somewhere (I'm not talking about tax)? — Strike.
Do you want to stop the strike? - Strike)))
- etc. etc.
If this somehow contributed to more civilized relations in society, its development, protection of people's rights, real lobbying of interests at all levels of government, and if the trade union was headed by responsible people, then I would join such a trade union.
Perhaps this idea will seem to someone similar to the idea of Ostap Bender about New Vasyuki, but if you imagine such an association, then at first glance it seems to be a very real force.
Why are people not interested in this? Everyone wants to fight for power, but not for people.

Imho all adequate people are apolitical and prefer to spend time making money.
In the current realities, it is easier to emigrate than to waste time on this, that's all.
And about the strike, well, it's really funny. Do you really think that the government considers the industry as socially significant? It is rather something incomprehensible, preventing the light from the TV from penetrating the depths of the masses.
Moreover, there are practically no state-owned it companies. You will strike inside your commercial structure - you will not harm anyone except this structure.
Raise so much hype that the state will pay attention to the regulation of workers - this is where you really howl.
Trade unions will soon appear.
They will accumulate on themselves all the dissatisfaction with the same pensions (replacing the opposition forces) and blow all the steam down, thereby (as you would like) increasing attention to themselves by the very fact that they are doing this
. trade union, then it would ALWAYS be for blocking Telegram, as well as the Internet ombudsman, exactly like the Party of Pensioners FOR raising the age
There is no sense in them in an INACTIVE society, a kind of sub-variant of parties, respectively, in the likeness of parties, they will be loyal to the regime
We have active support for the president , active support of EdRussia, active support will be for these "entities" and on behalf of the trade union I
already see Kaspersky, who headed the trade union of IT workers :)
IMO
the problem is discrediting the trade union movement, as such
Not in a particular country, but on a globe
Top management has learned to defend its positions, while the bottom and middle have forgotten how
To return such structures, it will be necessary to separate them from ideology (socialism) and protect them from external influences (implementation of dubious personalities, attacks by top management lawyers, ...)
The task is not for the faint of heart
Are you from Mars to us on Earth? Any movement - whether trade union, even for the rights of chipmunks - needs a leader. As soon as the leader begins to interfere, he will either be invited to "talk", after which he either dumps from the leaders ("life is more expensive"), or suddenly changes his beliefs dramatically.
and why would the respected Author of the question not become the initiator of this good deed?
in an organizational sense, everything is quite simple. create the primary organization of the trade union, register it and the case is in the bag.
I googled and found that there are only a few IT trade unions that claim to be all-Russian. The first, it seems, began to exist back in 2003. And there are a lot of regional ones. So the question is why don't you join them.
So the union performs the function "do you want to somehow violate the rights of an IT worker? Get ready for serious lawsuits."
Hi all!
The trade union of IT specialists in its first modification ordered to live long. Members and, most importantly, the organizers fled. We need to create a new one and create it seriously.
If there are interested people here, then let's start creating our trade union.
