Why is there a different address in the wallet when importing the Etherium private key?

Created a wallet in a full Etherium node on ubuntu. From it there is a UTC file, in json format. It has a private key in the mac parameter. When this key is imported into another client, for example, in metamask or in myetherwallet, a different wallet address is shown (the same in different clients) and, accordingly, my balance is not on it. What am I doing wrong? How to get into my wallet?

it turned out that it was necessary to import not with a key from the mac value, but with a json file, while it was necessary to enter the password for this file, then I got into my wallet. I still don’t understand how import by private key works, but since there is a salt value in the parameters, I can’t do without a password anyway
