Why is there a connection?

Yesterday I changed the display on my phone (Ski L70 d325).
I damaged one of the wires (ufl to ufl), the connection stopped working, apparently turned off the radio module. The wire is completely pulled out.
Now I'm at work, there was a connection.
Went out into the street and disappeared.
Why is that?

because apparently they turned off the antenna and not the radio module
