Why is the video card not working?
Hello. Help me figure out my video cards and motherboards.
So there is an old mother M2NMX SE Plus in which there was a geforce gt 220
video card.
I fell into the hands of a geforce gt 730 ddr3 128b , when connected, the computer stopped booting (black screen, coolers are spinning, you can’t get into the BIOS). And in terms of energy consumption, it is less than the old one, so the issue of lack of power disappears + there is another, newer mother biostar N68S3B on which it starts.
I rarely encounter hardware issues (as a user), but it should work, although the motherboard only supports ddr2 RAM memory. It's a question about the PCI Express slot, isn't it?

Maybe the signal goes to the built-in? Try to connect to the VGA connector of the motherboard
When I put the GTX 1060 in my mother under the sandy bridge, I had to update the BIOS, otherwise it would not start.
Try to update Beavis.
