Why is the symlink plugin not working properly?

In the build system, the dev task makes symlinks to images and graphics instead of compressing them with the imagemin task for speed and convenience, and when building a build, it should compress them, but still creates symlinks. How to fix it? My knowledge is not enough for this. Thanks in advance for your answers. The code is in pastebin because the toaster does not allow you to post a large amount of text.
