Installed Ubuntu 16.04 on top of Windows and the sound is very, very bad. On the Internet, it was advised to install PulseAudio Equalizer. I tweaked the settings there and found a good combination, but still the quality is worse than on Windows. In addition, after restarting the system, the settings get lost and you need to reconfigure the Equalizer. How to live with it?

if the sound is bad - no equalizer can fix it! I think it has something to do with wood...
