Why is the server unavailable via RDP after a reboot?
Need advice.
There is a rack at work - several servers on "normal office" hardware, Win 2008 R2, AD.
When you turn on the rack after a full regular shutdown, one server (file dump, print server, application server (corporate chat, OpenVPN server, and so on - little things), only one network card (looks into the local area, the bridge from it and the virtual TAP adapter): shared folders are available, printers are available, the server itself is not accessible via RDP from LAN, the chat
server is not available OpenVPN did not check. other servers, including DC) - everything becomes available immediately.
This is a systematically recurring problem - as the planned work of the power engineer with a long power outage is carried out, it is necessary to manually restart this server.
What to do. where to dig?
The thought came to mind - to put a delay in loading this server by 1-2 minutes. I'll go out tonight and check it out.
