Why is the Sent Items folder nested in the Inbox?

There is a mailbox on your hosting
We connected to the mailbox via Thunderbird (imap), Outlook (pop3) and Mail.ru (imap)
After sending a couple of test letters, we saw this:

Why are "Sent" messages included in the inbox? How to treat?

Three options are possible:
1. The IMAP server creates these folders in the inbox for new users, then you need to look at the IMAP server configuration.
2. The IMAP server does not create them at all by default and they are created by the mail client with which you first entered this mailbox via IMAP, most likely it was Thunderbird, because. it creates these folders by default as subfolders of the inbox.
3. The IMAP server creates folders, but the names are different from those that Thunderbird "likes" (for example, the name of the Trash folder for deleted ones). In this case, Thunderbird will also create folders, but in addition to them there will be folders created by the IMAP server with different names.
You can fix this through the account properties (Settings/Server settings for remote and Settings/Copies and folders for other folders). There is a corresponding setting in Outlook. Mail.Ru picks up existing folders, in order to apply changes in folders, you can delete your account via https://account.mail.ru/user/delete and log in again.
