Why is the Russian gaming industry focused on the mobile market?
Take, for example, a 1C company: one hundred subsidiaries, thousands of employees, multi-million dollar turnover - a rich company. I heard from them and a branch opened over the hill. Can't they invest in marketing domestic products aimed at Western audiences, namely the console market? I don't quite understand how it works.

The answer is simple - unprofitable. It's easier to cut shitty cars and make a profit than to puff on AAA-level projects that still don't work. + On PC gaming, no one likes to donate, unlike mobile fap sites.
why don't STS and TNT shoot projects like HBO, netflix and starz?
there is a market for slop lovers who are ready to pay for it
mobile games - it's like slot machines where you need to pull the handle or press 1 button, only legally
Because the entry threshold is lower and cheaper, development time is shorter and all that.
In "big game dev" you need to invest more, and the risks are different.
But in general, you are wrong. There are quite a few studios doing both PC and console versions.
You apparently have not been following this market for the last 3-4 years
The entire gaming industry is now focused on mobile
Because the game market has shifted to mobiles from hundreds of friends, a few have a console, everyone has mobiles
has mobiles. That is, the mobile market is many times or tens of times larger.
