Why is the repository not being created on GitHub?

I create a repository on GitHub, when creating I specify initialization through readme.
After I save, it gives out "Cannot retrieve the latest commit at this time. After that, the repository disappears from the list, but it is not possible to create a new one with the same name. What should I do?
