How to revert to a specific commit in Git?

Hey!
I mixed up the folder with the project and the folder with another farm and pushed it to git. I want to revert the changes, I thought that I need to:
1) Return to the previous commit
2) Download the project in this form
3) Run the project back
How can I do this? And is the action plan correct?

Delete the farm and push the changes. Or remove the commit (not recommended).
