Why is the png not showing up in the browser?

Why png is not displayed in the browser and when I convert to something else I get a white background?

What's in png? Maybe there is a white font and you put the picture on a white background?

PNG, judging by the preview in the explorer, is a white (and probably translucent) line on a transparent background. White on white, how will it be visible? Need to paint it in a different color)
