Why is the phone on aliexpress cheaper than here ?
I'm confused by the item - Unlocking the phone. What does this mean?

For the past seven years I have been buying phones only on Ali, it makes no sense to overpay + high availability and speed of delivery

Firstly, not all phones are much cheaper on Ali, but only budget models (a duty on flagships can reduce the purchase benefit to almost zero). Secondly, they are cheaper just because of the absence of import duties or a small amount thereof (that is, not always). Thirdly, they say that Chinese sellers somehow return Chinese VAT and therefore can keep prices low (but this is not certain). Fourthly, you need to monitor the prices of smartphones on special services and be able to endure until the next major sale.
