Why is the OpenVPN remote process running?

After the well-known blocking of the github, I installed the openvpn client and deployed my vpn to DO. I used it, github was unlocked, openvpn was deleted. And despite the fact that I removed it, still from time to time in process monitoring I observe the openvpn-service process, which diligently devours CPU time by 30-80%. I usually find out about this by hearing the characteristic noise of the cooler on the processor at times when it is not supposed to make noise, since there is no particular load.

Question: why the hell is this process still in the system and how to get rid of it? OS X Yosemite 10.10.2.

Thank you.

Try to analyze this process, who is the initiator and which executable file is doing it, and then try to clean it up. Unfortunately, in OS X I can’t say for sure how to do this, because I have never used it :)
