Why is the new value added to the graph data table not displayed on the graph (chart) itself?

I have a document with a graph, for example, some data over the years. Total two rows, 2 columns each, 10 values ​​in total - 10 points on the graph. I want to add one more date and value for it. I choose Edit Data, I add a new value - i.e. new column, it is saved in the table, it does not appear on the chart. The frame that highlights the cells used does not appear either. Why ?
There are no such problems in Excel itself.
