Why is the Internet speed on the phone through a wi-fi router higher than the Internet speed on a PC connected to the same router?
Well, it's all in the title. When accessing the 2IP site through the phone, it gives out about 30-40 mb. Opening the same site through a PC, the speed is about 1 mb. The problem appeared just yesterday out of the blue.

Check at what speed your connection on the PC is raised (on win 10 these are the parameters - network and Internet - view the network properties - line speed, look for other OSes yourself), if it is 10Mbit, then either change the adapter settings through the device manager or right there - adapter parameter settings - properties on the right one - settings
Possible reason for lowering the bitrate is a problem with the connection wire or equipment - a network card or a router port? for the test in turn, exclude each one in turn, replacing it with a known working component.
Do not forget that there are programs on the PC that can be updated with the download of large volumes of files, so the speed may drop to 1 MB
I also noticed that the Internet speed is stable from a mobile phone and from virtual machines! And in Windwos 10 it sags a lot ... I found a solution after some update, Windows itself began to slow down the speed of the Internet! Here is the link where I found the info
