Why is the hard drive not detected in windows 2008 GPT and hangs as a "New device"?

Windows 2008 Standard. with raid controller RS2BL040.
I'm trying to connect a 3TB hard drive. If during initialization I select MBR and create 2 disks for 2 and 1 GB. That all works well. If I try to create a GPT disk, then when creating a volume, an "Unknown device" appears in my device list with DriverID 'STORAGE\Volume'

I answer my own question, how I solved the problem
In windows, when installing drivers, there are logs, they are located in the windows / inf folder. In the logs, I found an error due to which the drivers could not be installed. Lack of rights to the windows/temp folder. After fixing permissions, everything worked.

HDD manufacturer?
win 2008 and win 7 have problems with screws over 2TB, use software from the manufacturer, though it may not take off on 2008
