Why is the firmware on the Mikrotik routerboard more recent than available for updating?

I received new Routerboard 912UAG-2HPnD, just in case I decided to see if anything new came out for them. And I found that the current firmware is a higher version than the one available for upgrade. How can this be?

On another similar piece of hardware, bought three months ago, the firmware versions are indicated correctly, the current one is 3.14, upgrade firmware is 3.14.

Perhaps on one it costs 5.xx and on the other 6.xx Ros. Between different firmware versions, the numbering differed. Accordingly, you need to install upgrade firmware, regardless of the number in the version.

well, how do you say on the rubord they add that your device would knock to whoever needs it, and it could be used for all sorts of things there))))
