Why is the file upload size limited?

There is gentoo. I deploy alfresco on it (together with apache tomcat).
It is not possible to upload files that weigh more than 10 MB, even through webdav, even through the web interface. Files up to 9.9 MB are loaded without problems. Shoveled all configs, did not find restrictions. Deployed owncloud (already through regular apache). Same problem.
Delivered a samba, files are filled in without problems. Nearby is another machine with Ubuntu on board, everything is fine there. Where to dig? Nothing has been changed in iptables.

Generally cut squid. Started up local traffic as well as external.
