Why is the Facebook page widget not showing up?

I have a Facebook page, not a personal one. I'm trying to insert it into the page widget generator for the site:

The code is provided, but already on the widget generator page there is an empty space. When you insert the code on the blog - also empty.
Same story for the like button.
What could be the problem?
