Why is the /etc/init.d/oracle-xe file not collected during installation and what to do?

Hello.
Faced such a problem, I install Oracle Database Express Edition 11g Release 2 according to this manual: linux-notes.org/ustanovka-java-oracle-11g-na-debia... .
About 10 days ago I installed it for myself, everything worked, but with one crutch - no matter how I rebuilt the settings - the password did not fit, I went to the teacher, he told me to delete this file and generally demolish the database and reinstall it, did, then the following.
At this point:
# sudo /etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure
I am not setting up a database in which I had to specify ports and a password.
it all just boils over here.
Climbed into the file /etc/init.d/oracle-xe
there is something like this:

### BEGIN INIT INFO
# Provides: OracleXE
# Required-Start: $remote_fs $syslog
# Required-Stop: $remote_fs $syslog
# Default-Start: 2 3 4 5
# Default-Stop: 0 1 6
# Short-Description: Oracle 11g Express Edition
### END INIT INFO

I tried again to demolish everything and reinstall it - no results, everything repeats every time.
And so, either I don’t understand something, or for some reason, during installation, this file is not collected at all. Who knows how to solve a similar problem, please help, otherwise I’ve been looking for a solution for the 4th day - I can’t find it, but the teacher said that he didn’t know how to solve it and I would either have to sit through the virtual machine or demolish the axis, which I don’t would like to do.

@CityCat4

especially if oracle is needed purely for educational purposes.

It's better to say so - especially since oracle will soon not rest against anyone in the Russian Federation :)
