I will answer the main question first: they are not supported, because they are included in the W3C working draft - not yet approved as a standard.
Regarding cross-browser compatibility, here are the polyfills: https://github.com/Modernizr/Modernizr/wiki/HTML5-...
I haven't tested them myself, but something might work.

And why should he? It's not stylized at all. Spoiler on jquery takes 5 lines of code and fully adapts to the design.
