Why is the button being pressed?

On a lenovo g570 laptop, the "\" button (next to the backspase) is pressed by itself. Can it continue typing by itself if I disable it via Mapkeyboard? And if you boot from linux, then ">" starts to be pressed. The keyboard was not flooded with anything, this part of the keyboard was generally used to a minimum. And sometimes by itself it may not stick for 2-3 months and then again for 2 weeks it sticks.

If it is the same in linux, then this is a 100% hardware problem, bring it to the service or yourself

The solution is simple - turn off the keyboard (pull out the cable), and see how it will be. If it continues to be pressed, EC is to blame in the laptop (of course, if it is the same on another OS, or, for example, when booting from a USB flash drive). If it stops pressing by itself - the problem is with the keyboard. Buy a new one and forget.

I was a little shocked by what happened, button 7 (ideapad 700) stuck, even with the cable disabled, it stuck in the BIOS, incl. Total googling up to the ears found such an answer. What is it and how does xs work ... as I understand it, because of the long sleep mode, the problem is not unique. In general, the answer is:

Solving the problem with a working keyboard and touchpad on Lenovo laptops Turn
off the laptop completely and connect the charger. Press and hold the "Power" button for about 20 seconds until the charging indicator goes out. Then just turn on the laptop and everything works.
