Why is "sandwich" not displayed in the response?

but for some reason instead of it there is an empty space when viewed in browsers (chrome) of mobile devices:

I suspect that the problem is that you do not have a font-family defined in your styles and different browsers use different fonts by default, it may well be that this character is not in the default font set.

Perhaps the encoding does not match or such a character is only on your computer, and phones do not support such a character
