Why is my Dell 7537 getting hot in Ubuntu?

I purchased the above Dell (i5-4200U, GF750M) with Win8.1 pre-installed, and installed ubuntu 14.10 on it.
After installation, I installed proprietary drivers from NV, and decided to check the video card in Steam. When you start any game, from Steam or not, even for example the same Wesnoth, the cooler starts to buzz a lot, and the panel above the keyboard gets very hot. In order to check the equipment, I reinstalled Windows, but everything works well in it, without buzzing and heating.
Question: How to deal with the fact that when more or less high-quality graphics appear on the screen, the video card starts to heat up (?) And what ways out of this situation can be found?

@videnta

It's more likely the processor, not the video card.

turn off the vidyuhi in the bios, if possible, and work on the built-in one.

The thing is, it's on by default. and in Windows it launches the built-in video card. it heats up less. run nvidia-settings. There, in my opinion, you can set the video card by default. I have a vidyuha gt 740m, too, the problem was I could not set it by default.
