Why is MultiCurl extremely slow when using cookies?

Hello. I'm downloading the page code from the vendor as an authorized user, so I'm using cookies. Why as soon as I run multiCurl with cookies, I get one page in 2 seconds. And if you do not use cookies, then in a second I get the codes of several pages? I don't understand how?
