Why is lightDM not visible in ubuntu?

Installed ubuntu 14.04 lts 64-bit. Installed lubuntu after lubuntu (if you need to run something heavy) and reinstalled lightDM (didn't like the login screen on lubuntu), but lightDM decided to sound, but not show (I hear a fraction, but I don't see the interface itself). How to solve this problem, how to make lightDM show up?

have you tried sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm?
