Why is it giving a 404 error?
The site is worth DLE. I create a folder in the root of the site, throw htaccess there with the text AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 and open the 1.txt file in the browser:
The requested URL /folder/1.txt was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.42 Server at site.ru Port 80
Why? Even if there was routing, then it should have been turned off with its own htaccess in this folder. Where to dig, what to watch?
